NYO All-Star Alumni Orchestra with Daniel Harding and Yuja Wang
October 7th, Michael will be rejoining fellow alumni of Carnegie Hall’s NYO-USA orchestra for a performance featuring selections from Leonard Bernstein’s "West Side Story”, Tchaikovsky’s 1st Piano Concerto played by Yuja Wang, and Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite under the baton of Daniel Harding.

NEC Philharmonia Orchestra with Stefan Asbury
Featuring Elgar’s 1st Symphony, Ravel’s Le tombeau de Couperin, and Berio’s Requies (1983-85), the NEC Philharmonia is presented with Stefan Asbury in Jordan Hall. This evening will mark Michael’s debut as concertmaster of the NEC Philharmonia Orchestra.

Solo Recital
Featuring works by Kreisler, Brahms, Sibelius, Suk, and Saint Saens, this recital is being offered as an expression of gratitude for the support of the purchase of his new violin. Hosted by Lycoming College, Michael will be performing on his new Dietmar Schweizer/Samuel Zygmuntowicz violin, recently purchased from Carriage House Violins.

Graduation Recital
This recital is being hosted by the New England Conservatory of Music, offered to fulfill Michael’s undergraduate degree. Michael will be performing on a Giovanni Rogeri violin, generously loaned to him by Carriage House Violins.

Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra
Featuring Debussy’s “Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune,” Walton’s cello concerto, and Rachmaninoff’s 2nd Symphony , this concert held at the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s home Symphony Hall will feature Benjamin Zander’s youth orchestra, where Michael will resume his concertmaster position.

Featuring Mahler’s 6th “Tragic” Symphony, this concert held at the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s home Symphony Hall will feature Benjamin Zander’s youth orchestra, where Michael will resume his concertmaster position.

Solo Recital
Featuring works by Schumann, Bach, Paganini, Auerbach, and Kreisler, this recital is being hosted by Carriage House Violins. Michael will be performing on an Andrea Postacchini circa 1835, generously loaned to him by Carriage House Violins.
